The pilgrim’s way to Nidaros

In medieval times, Saint Olav’s shrine in Norway became one of the most important places of pilgrimage in Europe. From Nidaros remarkable stories were spread about the wonderworking power of the relics. Thousands of people made their way to the cathedral in the north. In our time, there has been a revival of Saint Olav’s way. The pilgrimage is often experienced as an inner and outer journey of great significance.
